

Parents Association
All parents automatically become part of the Alderton Infant and Junior Schools Parents´ Association when their children start school. An Annual General Meeting is held early in the Autumn Term when a new committee is elected.
The committee raise funds for the school by organising quiz evenings, family events, discos mother´s and father´s day stalls, sponsored events, raffles and much more as well. The Christmas Bazaar and the Summer Fun Day are key events in the calendar. PA members are a dedicated group of hard workers who know how have to have fun as well.
The funds that are raised go towards assisting with school trips, workshop activities e.g. Viking Day and Roman Day, as well as Art Week. The money also pays for extra school equipment such as Wet Play games, Smart Boards, Roamers for ICT and a lot more besides.
Being a part of the Parents´ Association is a great way to meet other parents, socialise, interact with the school and also have good fun.
